New Pier Opens at Gatwick

Replacing a pier that had been open since 1958, Pier 1 is now operating at London Gatwick Airport (LGW). The new $273 million pier, which is reportedly part of the airport’s attempts to activate a new runway, includes a new baggage system and five gates.
