Delta CEO Comments on Company Performance

Delta Air Lines will see a new face stepping into the position of CEO previously held by Richard Anderson starting Monday. According to USA Today, Ed Bastian will continue the carrier’s streak of success that started with a turnaround plan nearly a decade ago implemented by Anderson. In a statement Friday, Bastian said, “We’re going to compete as a premium provider, which means that you have to deliver a premium service with a higher quality of reliability and a better product than your competition.” Bastian claims that the company has “never performed better in history.”

As a 2 million miler on United and a 1K forever, changing to Delta was a tough decision - but the right one! The customer service is worth the inconvenient airports (I am an EWR girl). Hoping that the family-type service doesn't change with the new CEO.
