New CEO Appointed to Malaysia Airlines

In a statement Thursday, Malaysia Airlines revealed it has named Chief Operating Officer Peter Bellew to be its new managing director and CEO. Bellew will assume the role beginning July 1. Current CEO Christoph Mueller, who originally announced he would be stepping down in September because of personal reasons, will go on leave until July 1.
