Netflix Has a Plan to Improve Everyone’s In-Flight Wifi by 75%

Netflix has announced its intention to partner with airlines in 2018 to provide its mobile streaming services, which doesn’t require the usual amount of bandwidth required to play streaming video on mobile. The news was announced by Netflix at the 2017 APEX Expo, and a spokesperson for the streaming service claimed to be able to cut down on bandwidth costs by as much as 75%.
