Muslim Women Booted From Flight for ‘Staring’

Plane in the sky. Feel of freedom.

Two Muslim women were escorted off of a JetBlue flight in Los Angeles Saturday for reportedly “staring” at a crew member and filming during a safety briefing. The incident was caught on video by Sharon Kessler, a fellow passenger who claims the decision to punish the women “felt like overkill.” The two women were singled out and, once the aircraft landed, asked by police officers to deplane.

Where did this story get a religious angle? Shame on reporters for sensationalizing everything.

And so, FAs tell the offending passengers that. Here, it sounds like there was no interaction at the time, the first reaction from FAs was to report it upwards. If what is reported so far is true, I think it was overkill.

"Escorted off of a JetBlue flight in Los Angeles Saturday for reportedly “staring” at a crew member during a safety briefing. " Yes, clearly anyone who is paying attention to the safety briefing is acting odd and shouldn't be aloud to fly. :-)

Typically terms of service say you can't film or take pictures of the flight crew.
