Mike Pence’s Plane Slid Off a Runway at LGA

A plane carrying Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence skidded off a runway at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in a rainstorm Thursday night. The Port Authority of New York closed two runways to work through the night to remove the aircraft. No injuries were reported among the 37 passengers who evacuated via the rear of the plane, including Pence, and the runways have reopened.
