Mighty Mouse: New Boeing 737 MAX 7 Finishes First Flight

Boeing’s first 737 MAX 7 aircraft, the smallest of the 737 MAX aircraft and colloquially referred to as the miniMAX, completed its first flight last week, departing from the Boeing factory in Renton, Washington and performing a three-hour flight before returning.

“It’s smaller, but mighty,” said chief pilot Jim Webb. “Everything about it was clean. We completed the entire test profile and we couldn’t be happier.”
