Midair Brawl Prompts Police Response

After a fight broke out between two groups aboard a Ryanair flight from Edinburgh to Alicante, Spain, flight crew called for assistance from police in Alicante once the plane had landed. Four passengers were arrested once the flight landed at 11:15 a.m. local time, and according to the other passengers, were inebriated, one even allegedly going so far as to strike a child on the head with a wine bottle.

“We will not tolerate unruly or disruptive behaviour and the safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority,” said a spokesperson for Ryanair.
