Miami Couple Plead Guilty to MIA Lounge Hustle

Elena and Lazaro Iglesias, a Miami couple, confessed last week to their use of a lounge at Miami International Airport (MIA) as a front for grand theft, money laundering and organized fraud. The money raked in by the couple was meant for the Miami-Dad Aviation Department, and couple will serve three years’ jail time and have to repay $2.6 million.
