MCO Is All in on Facial Recognition Technology

In a joint statement, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) and United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirmed that Orlando International Airport (MCO) will fully commit to implementing facial recognition technology as part of the screening process for travelers.

“We are committed to delivering a premiere travel experience to Orlando International Airport’s more than five million annual international passengers,” said GOAA CEO. “By incorporating biometric technology into our entry and exit processes, safety, security and speed are optimised so customers can enjoy a more streamlined and comfortable journey through Florida’s busiest airport.”
