Marriott Towels to Be Manufactured Domestically

Marriott-branded hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance Hotels, Courtyard Marriott and TownePlace Suites, will begin using towels made in the United States instead of internationally manufactured towels, and this process will take “a year to change out,” according to Marriott CEO Arne Sorenson. Sorenson added “We’re not going to throw away the existing towels until they need to be replaced … As they need to be replaced, the made-in-the-USA towels will come.”

If I made the decision to start buying more "made in the USA" goods, I would very quickly be unable to buy "made in the USA" goods. As sad as that is. Also, it's undeniable that some imported things are just better than American made things.

Great PR if everyone just made a decision to buy something anything made in the USA think what it would do to our economy
