Marriot Bonvoy Offers Bonus Points for Stays Through December

Even though flight bookings are dropping, Marriot Bonvoy is offering bonus points to travelers who need a fall vacation. Guests can earn a bonus 1,500 Marriott Bonvoy points for staying at any participating hotel, or a total of 4,500 bonus points per stay at an All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy property.

Travelers who are seeking a fall getaway may be able earn bonus points with their stay, thanks to Marriott Bonvoy’s latest promotion. The hotelier announced the Embrace More fall promotion, offering unlimited bonus points per stay between September 14 and December 12, 2021.

Promotion First to Include All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy Properties

To earn the bonus points with every stay, Marriott Bonvoy members must first register for the promotion on the Marriott website. From there, the promotion will be applied after the first stay during the period, and on every subsequent stay through Dec. 12. The last day to register is November 28, 2021.

With every stay during the period, members will earn additional bonus points. At participating Marriott Bonvoy properties, guests will earn an additional 1,500 points on top of their regular earnings. For those who choose to stay at the over 25 All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy properties in the Caribbean and Latin America, guests will earn 3,000 more points per stay, for a total of 4,500 Marriott Bonvoy points.

There is no limit to the number of points guests can earn with the promotion. Every stay counts to earn bonus points during the promotional period.

To qualify for the bonus points, guests must book their stay directly through Marriott on Marriott.com, on the Marriott Bonvoy app, or through a reservations center. Rates booked through third-party partners will not qualify for the promotion. In addition, several brands are not participating in the promotion, including Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Executive Apartments and Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

Promotion Comes as Travel Brands Fear Bleak Winter

The new promotion comes as the entire travel industry is preparing for a tough winter, with air travel bookings trending lower for the fifth straight week. Analysis from Bank of America shows sales for the week of August 22 were down 58.9 percent compared to the same time in 2019.
