Man Sues Southwest for “Mental Anguish” Related to Bumpy Landing

Troy Haines, a Southwest Airlines passenger who was aboard a flight that landed at a downtown Branson airport instead of Branson Airport (BKG), is suing the carrier for what his lawyers describe as mental anguish and fear due to the aircraft’s allegedly rough landing.

According to the lawsuit, the aircraft stopped 300 feet before the runway’s end, and passengers were knocked around the cabin before being forced to sit in a smoke-filled cabin for two hours.
