Man Sentenced for Phoning in Bomb Threat to Keep From Missing Flight

Dana Carter of Dayton, Ohio has received a sentence of four months in prison and a fine of $7,700 in relation to an October incident in which he phoned in a bomb threat to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to keep from missing his United Airlines flight to Dallas.

Carter’s lawyer referred to the incident as a “foolish act.”
