“Man Purse” Sparks Altercation, Ends With Tasing

An EasyJet passenger was tased Thursday after sparking an altercation with airline employees. Passengers aboard Flight 831 from Gatwick Airport (LGW) claim the unidentified man entered into the argument after he was called out on the number of carry-ons he was permitted to travel with, as his “man purse” made him in violation of the airline’s baggage policies.
Police were contacted when the man exhibited aggressive behavior and, after refusing to cooperate and get off the Airbus A320, he was shot with a stun gun. The man was arrested on suspicion of breaching the peace.
Passengers were forced to deplane so police could interview them. The flight departed LGW for Belfast International Airport (BFS) nearly three hours behind schedule.
