Man Hops LAX Fence, Gets Arrested

On Monday at around 2 p.m. PST, a man was arrested by Los Angeles police after jumping over a fence at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and running out onto the tarmac just as a Delta Air Lines flight was about to take off.

“Airport Police observed a male scale the outer perimeter fence at Lincoln near Sepulveda,” said a police spokesperson. “Units converged on the man who approached a Delta aircraft staging for departure. Airport Police have taken him into custody and are conducting an investigation.”
