Malaysia Airlines Accused of Firing 20+ Career FAs Because of Their Looks

Osaka, Japan - October 30 2014: Malaysia Airlines is a major airline operating flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to destinations throughout Asia

The National Union of Flight Attendants Malaysia claims that Malaysia Airlines has begun firing flight attendants, both male and female, for being overweight.

“This is a classic case of discrimination which needs to be stopped. It is unfair and cruel to the cabin crew,” said Nufam president Ismal Nasaruddin. “This is the same as sacking any female workers for being sick or pregnant. It is unacceptable.”
