Lufthansa Group has confirmed that it will be making changes to the seating in its Economy and Business Class sections aboard the carrier’s newly acquired Airbus A320 aircraft. The new seats, which will be in use in approximately 100 new aircraft, will be used by passengers flying short- and medium-haul routes aboard Austrian, Lufthansa and Swiss.

The ergonomic, foam-filled cushions will remain at a fixed recline of 20 degrees in Economy, rather than the 12-degree recline in current Lufthansa Group aircraft, and seating in business class will give flyers 26 degrees of recline.
