Flight Delayed After Plane Crushes Man’s Foot

A flight carrying what is believed to be about 200 passengers was stuck on the tarmac at Gatwick Airport (LGW) after an aircraft operated by Rossiya Airlines ran over a crew member’s foot. The unidentified worker was allegedly rushed to medical care after being trapped beneath the aircraft’s wheel.

An LGW spokesperson said: “We can confirm that an incident took place on the airfield at 5.10pm where a Dnata employee was unfortunately injured and the emergency services were required to attend.”
