LCY Finds WWII-Era Bomb, Cancels Flights

On Monday, London City Airport (LCY) canceled the remainder of its flights for the day after an undetonated explosive dating back to World War II was discovered in the midst of construction at the airport. According to the Metropolitan Police, Royal Navy specialists were able to establish a 200-meter exclusion zone while the bomb was safely removed from the area.
