LAX Shooter Gets Life in Prison

A gunman who opened fire at LAX in 2013, killing a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and injuring three others, has been sentenced to life in prison. The accused, 26-year-old Paul Ciancia who pleaded guilty to murder earlier this year in a plea deal, received the sentencing Monday.

Tony Grigsby, one of the TSA officers shot that day, said, “He’s doing life in prison. …He’s not going to be able to hurt anyone else ever again.”
