Laser Reports at Logan Int’l Spur Controversy

At least seven lasers were being pointed at aircraft near Logan International Airport (BOS) between Tuesday night and earlier Wednesday morning, according to officials. Per the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), reports of incidents came from “United 389, UPS 1012, United 670, Spirit Airlines 103, Spirit Airlines 640 and two Medflight helicopter flights.” Investigations are underway, though Cambridge police say they have yet to locate a suspect.

i wonder if this is merely idiots doing this or people who actually want to bring down aircraft. Perhaps this should be treated as terrorism.
