KLM/Air France: U.S. to Various African Destinations Starting at $577

KLM and Air France are running a sale on airfare from many U.S. cities to the African continent.

Destinations include Nairobi, Kenya; Cape Town, South Africa; Abuja, Nigeria; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’ and Entebbe, Uganda. Depending on your destination, economy round-trip flights start at $577. Departure cities include Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington.

Availability includes dates between November and May, but Christmas and New Year’s holidays are excluded.

It is unclear how long the sale will last, and if you like any of these deals, we recommend you book as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that some African nations charge U.S. citizens hefty visa fees (South Africa excluded). For example, a single-entry eVisa to Uganda and to Kenya costs $50 and $51 respectively, but you can get an East African tourist visa for $100. Entering Tanzania will cost you $100, and a single-entry visa to Nigeria will set you back a whopping $160.
