Kenyan Politician Detained in Airport Bathroom

Kenyan opposition politician Miguna Miguna claims that on Tuesday, he was forcibly held in a public bathroom at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) after refusing to be deported during a retaliatory action against figures who were present during the mock inauguration of Raila Odinga, the opposition leader.

After Miguna’s lawyers went to the high court to protest the detainment, a judge demanded that Miguna be freed, and requested Miguna’s presence in court on Wednesday.
