Keanu Reeves Can Even Make An Emergency Landing Wonderful

Keanu Reeves Can Even Make An Emergency Landing Wonderful
Jennifer Billock

Fancy a car ride with John Wick? Some passengers on a flight that made an emergency landing recently got that opportunity when they discovered none other than Keanu Reeves was on their plane – and then he got in a van with some of them to drive to their destination, entertaining them for the entire ride there.

Some of us understand the value of a road trip better than others – and it turns out Keanu Reeves is one of them.

The actor was recently on a United flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles when it had to make an emergency landing in Bakersfield, TIME reported. Instead of getting frustrated or annoyed, though, Reeves took it upon himself to make the best of the situation.

The flight was forced to land in Bakersfield – where it would take less time to drive to Los Angeles than wait for another flight. Once everyone was off the plane, Reeves jumped in to help passengers make alternate travel plans. For some of the passengers, that meant a van ride to Los Angeles, and Reeves joined as a passenger in the van.

On the ride, he entertained the other travelers, sharing fun facts about Bakersfield and then playing local music from a few bands for everyone from the YouTube app on his phone.

Fellow passengers were, of course, quick to document the entire occasion, leading to Instagram stories and Twitter photos with the movie star. After the van arrived in Los Angeles, he made a quick stop at Carl’s Jr., and his new friends indulged in their newfound bragging rights.

    well, way to go Keanu!

The guy is a star. He could allow himself to throw a tantrum. But he doesn’t and shows a good example.
