K-Pop Fans Mob Aircraft, Then Demand to Be Let Off
Last Saturday, a Korean Air flight set to depart from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) was delayed after three twentysomething K-pop fans (that’s South Korean popular music for those of you without young relatives) jumped onto the aircraft in order to express their adoration of the group Wanna One. The fans ignored flight staff’s demands that they remain in their seats, electing instead to mob the pop group in their seats.
Once the enthusiastic music fans realized that they would have to fly aboard the aircraft, they demanded to be allowed to disembark, although they were informed by flight staff that every passenger aboard the flight would be forced to go through airport security once again. Not only were they apparently unbothered by causing such a disruption, they demanded full refunds for their tickets, to which they were technically entitled under Korean Air’s policy.

What "aviation law" requires all passengers to disembark and pass through security again if someone on that flight suddenly has a change of mind (or plans) and wants to disembark? HTB.
