Is This the Worst Thing You’ve Ever Seen in First Class?

A couple was snapped playing a rather public game of footsie while traveling in the first class cabin on a recent American Airlines flight. The images, which were shared online by fellow passenger Laura Lake, show the pair stroking their feet together in apparent obliviousness to other travelers.

A couple traveling in the first class cabin on a recent American Airlines flight were snapped playing a game of footsie by one of their rather annoyed fellow passengers, The Sun reports. The images, which have been shared online, were taken by traveler Laura Lake and appear to show the couple pressing and stroking their feet together.

Captioning the series of images, Lake wrote, “First class seat- $1000. Too many drinks in the airport before boarding- $100. Ointment to cure WHATEVER their feet will have after using restrooms barefoot- $20. Passing out after playing what she thought was a sexy game of footsie over the first class divider wall …… priceless!”.

However, the couple’s encounter appears to have been something of an annoyance to those around them. Lake, whose comments on social media were quoted by the outlet, said, “Guy in seat in front NOT impressed when she finished by resting her feet over his television! #passengershaming”.

I don't even take my shoes off at home let alone a plane.

Waiting to board an Aer Lingus flight Dublin to JFK a couple of years ago (Aer Lingus doesn't have a first class section on that flight, just business class), had another passenger walk up to me, look up at me, snottily tell me, "I'm where I'm supposed to be, are you where you're supposed to be?" and jump in front of me in line. So, we're on the plane and he's a bit short and having some trouble getting his carry-on into the overhead bin. I'm waiting behind him. He turns and looks at me waiting to get by. I regret not having returned his snotty comment at that point.

Why do people assume that first class = classy behavior?

The saddest part of the story is 'they were drunk' living in their own bubble with no regard for any one else.
