In Brief: Virgin Australia Unveils New Premium Economy Cabin

Virgin Australia’s premium economy is getting a redesign that will be featured onboard its long-haul fleet of Boeing 777. The upgraded cabin, which consists of 24 seats in a 2-4-2 layout between business and economy, will offer such perks as priority boarding, an expanded seat pitch from 38 to 41 inches, as well as plated meal service.

One of the upgrades featured exclusively in this section is the new Premium Larder — stocked with a variety of beverages, including beer and wine, and light meal choices. The product will be available to flyers starting in November.
