In Brief: Inbound Delta Flight Isolated & Searched at EWR Following Bomb Threat

At the behest of the FAA, Delta Air Lines Flight 69 from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) was taxied to an isolated area of Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) upon landing Monday following a bomb threat. The Boeing 767-300 and bags of all 191 passengers onboard were searched by police with bomb-sniffing dogs in tow.

Police found nothing suspicious onboard and gave the all-clear around 2 p.m., just over two hours after DL69 landed. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
