In Brief: Frontier CEO Steps Down for ‘Personal Reasons’

David Siegel, Frontier Airlines President and CEO, stepped down from his position at the airline Wednesday “for personal reasons.” Siegel entered the position in January 2012 and has since transformed the company into an ultra-low cost carrier to simultaneously increase profits and save money.

A recent release from Frontier stated an Office of the Chief Executive has been created by the airline’s board of directors so duties and functions of Siegel’s former position can be controlled through general board oversight.
