A private Twitter account — @EtihadPremium — can now be accessed exclusively by Etihad Airways’ Gold and Platinum members who want  real-time feedback to requests and questions. The airline has guaranteed that the response time will take no more than five minutes, and the account is actively maintained 24 hours a day. Members can also view news and content through the channel.

According to Etihad’s social media director, Elizabeth Selby, “The new channel aims to enhance the experience of our most-valued guests by offering them a personalized service and delivering a range of unique benefits.” To access the channel, the qualifying Twitter user must first be verified by emailing a copy of their Etihad Guest card, their birth place, postal code and Twitter handle to [email protected].
