In Brief: Employee Fatally Stabs Coworker at US Airways Facility

Two US Airways technicians engaged into an argument that led to a fatal stabbing at an airline facility near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) Wednesday. Authorities confirmed a flight-simulator technician stabbed a coworker with a sharp object in an office hallway and, although the victim was transported to a hospital, he did not survive the injury.

Sgt. Vince Lewis of the Phoenix Police Departments said the accused is in custody and cooperating. At the time of reporting, both parties’ identities were being withheld and no charges had been filed.
