In Brief: Drunk Passengers Attack Pilot Upon Landing

Two intoxicated passengers onboard a Transavia Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Barcelona assaulted a pilot last week. The incident reportedly took place shortly after landing, when the pilot approached the unruly pair — a man and a woman who allegedly refused to follow the cabin crew’s instructions. The couple attacked the pilot when confronted and they were arrested by Barcelona authorities.

The pilot received medical treatment for undisclosed injuries at the scene. He has since filed charges against the pair. No other injuries were reported.
