In Brief: British Air Flight Circles for 30 Minutes Before Making Emergency Landing

British Airways flight 343 was forced to make an emergency landing Monday at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) after the pilot declared an emergency due to a technical issue mid-flight. The Airbus A320 from Nice, France, reportedly circled over south-east London for nearly 30 minutes before it was met by firefighters upon touching down.

No injuries were reported, and an airline spokeswoman said “…the aircraft will be checked by our engineers before returning to service.”

This is news how/why? Happens everyday somewhere in the world. I really fail to understand what this website is trying to be in terms of sensationalist headline/news garbage

Kinda like British health care; an "emergency" can wait hours.
