In Brief: American Flight Evacuated at DFW After Landing With Hazy Cabin

A hazy cabin on American Airlines Flight 1387 from Kansas City (MCI) led to an evacuation upon landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Monday morning. Emergency personnel met the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 when it safely touched down. According to one of the passengers onboard AA 1387, the haze smelled of irritating chemicals.

At the time of reporting, it is unclear what caused the haze, but early reports suggest a mechanical issue. No injuries were reported.
