Huge Chunk of Ice Through Homeowner’s Roof May Have Come from Aircraft

Last Saturday, an enormous chunk of ice that crashed through the roof of a California home is suspected to have fallen from an aircraft bound for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Homeowner Brandon Blanchard said “We think we’re fortunate too, that it landed in the bathtub.”

The Federal Aviation Administration is currently looking into the incident, including reviewing radar relays to get an idea of which flights might have flown over Blanchard’s house in Chino.
