Houston Airport Now Offers Stress-Relieving Therapy Dogs

Travelers at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) now have access to “therapy dogs” stationed at baggage claims, ticketing counters and gates throughout the airport as a way to reduce any travel stress that might occur while traveling. The pups, which were brought in by the Houston Airport System, will also be wearing blue bandanas. In a statement, IAH official Ken Whittaker said, “The goal of the program is to make the traveling experience less stressful and more pleasant.”
