Hotel Offers Divorcees a Refund After Stay

Countryside Hotels, a Swedish hotel chain, is giving erstwhile married guests a refund on their stay if the couples have divorced within a year of their visit. In order to collect the refund, couples must already have been married on the dates of their stays, stayed in the same room during their visits, and have brought up the refund offer while booking.

“We have welcomed couples to our hotels and mansions around Sweden and seen how beneficial it can be to get away for a while and devote time to each other,” said Anna Madsen, marketing officer for Countryside Hotels.
