Hilton Guests Use Google Maps to Choose Room Views

Hilton HHonors members are now able to integrate Google Maps into their HHonors apps in order to select potential rooms based on the views from their room windows. Since introducing a room selection feature on the HHonors mobile app two years ago, Hilton guests have clocked more than 13 million uses, according to Joshua Sloser, vice president of digital product innovation at Hilton Worldwide. Guests booking at 2,500 hotels will be able to use the Google Maps function when they check in via the mobile app, and Sloser claims that service will expand to all Hilton properties by summer of this year, including DoubleTree, Embassy Suites and Waldorf Astoria.

Yep, they sure are.... but the room you choose online isn't the room you'll get at the hotel. Had this happen twice to me in the past month where I picked specific rooms and when I get to the hotel I get something completely different.
