Here’s What Happened to Anthony Bourdain’s Frequent Flier Miles

Renowned chef and traveler Anthony Bourdain, who tragically passed away last month, apparently left his frequent flier miles to his second wife, Ottavia Busia-Bourdain, with his will going on to state that she should “dispose of [them] in accordance with what [she] believes to have been my wishes.”

The will, which was written briefly prior to his and Busia-Bourdain’s separation in 2016, left most of the travel giant’s estate to his 11-year-old child, Ariane.

I thought most airlines stipulated that miles were the airlines’ property and non-transferable upon death?
