Have Trouble Sleeping in a Hotel? This Might Be Why

According to a report from the Sun, a theory called the “First Night Effect” might be why people have trouble getting a decent night’s sleep in a hotel. The “effect” is contained in a book called “The Doctor,” and its author speculates that you’re staying awake because your body is attempting to protect itself in a new setting so that you might be more likely to overcome a threat.
