Hangzhou Flight Grounded After Loss of Cabin Pressure

On Sunday, a Capital Airlines flight from Kunming, Yunnan to Hangzhou, Zhejiang was forced to divert after the aircraft rapidly and jarringly descended due to a loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft, which was carrying 146 flyers and nine crew members, returned safely to Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG).

“I have never had such an experience and I literally thought we were going to crash,” said one passenger. “I switched on my mobile phone and wrote to my parents about how sorry I would be if I didn’t survive.”
