Once you leave the plane, you probably toss your boarding pass because you think you no longer need it. But did you know that by holding on to the pass, you can actually save yourself money on the rest of your trip?

Hold on to your Singapore Airlines’ boarding pass and you’ll receive a discount at a number of different tourist attractions including a 25 percent discount on a visit to the city-state’s National Gallery as well as discounts at shops and casinos in Australia.

On Korean Air, your boarding pass affords you discounts to attractions like Jeju Folk Village, Food and Drinks at Shake Shack KAL Hotel and other Korean restaurants, movies, performances and even free Wi-Fi Rental.

Other airlines that offer discounts for holding a boarding pass include half-price museum entry and bus passes on Asiana Airlines. At Alaska Airlines, you can get the possibility of a free wine tasting and free skiing at various resorts. On Turkish Airlines in Jordan, you can get a discount to visiting Petra. And in Rome, use your  Alitalia ticket for a discount on the Roma pass, which gives you access to museums all over the city.
