Gutted Airplane Becomes Opulent Jet

There are certainly worse ways to fly than with lay-flat beds, customizable mood lighting and sushi rolls.

Travel company TCS World Travel has repurposed a Boeing 757 and gutted the normal commercial airplane, transforming the interior into a 52-seat luxury jet. Passengers can now enjoy 6.5 feet of personal space, Bulgari amenity kits and an enormous selection of wine and spirits, among other high-end treats.

TCS World Travel has several journeys planned for the luxury flight, including an “Around the World” trip to locales such as Easter Island, Peru and Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Vacations average 24 days, and the price tag comes in at $117,000 per person. Once passengers land, they can expect accommodations with the Four Seasons, which has a partnership with TCS World Travel.

It's not "private" if you don't control the passenger list. It's over-the-top luxe, but not private. If I had the choice, I'd go truly private even on a smaller,, slower jet.&

Not really a private jet.. It's a huge business class cabin on a narrow body aircraft where you are required to step over someone's feet to get to the aisle. On top of this they will presumably only fly from 1 airport which is probably not your local airport. Personally I would rather arrange my own holiday without 52 other people, fly first class and stay in FS or Aman resorts and pay about 20% the cost.
