Guatemala Eruption Delays Passengers at LAX
The deadly volcanic eruption that has killed at least 25 in Guatemala is also disrupting flights at Los Angeles International Airport. The Fuego volcano, one of Central America’s most active, has significantly delayed several flights.
A flight bound for Guatemala City set to depart Terminal 3 late Sunday night was rescheduled to Monday morning. And, this a.m., a report from LAX suggests that the natural disaster is still causing “trouble” for passengers trying to get through this already-busy airport.
