GOP: Approval of TSA Budget Bill Unlikely

A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) fee increase proposal is not likely to be approved before the start of the fiscal year, according to the chairmen of the House and Senate Appropriations subcommittees on homeland security. According to USA Today, Republican lawmakers say the proposal created by President Trump is a gimmick.

“This budget fails to take into consideration many practical realities,” said Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark.
