Glass Rooms, Bubble Gum Pink Pools: Ibiza’s New Instagrammable Hotels Are Wonderfully Over the Top

Although there are plenty of places to soak up the sun along the sparkling Mediterranean, Ibiza remains a favorite place for the elite classes to party. While villas and yachts are where the wealthy stay to play, new hotels have also opened up that cater to tourists who are looking to come to town and do the most in the most Instagrammable locations.

7Pines

7 Pines

Partying isn’t the only thing that you can do in Ibiza. And for tourists looking for a respite (maybe after being out all night), there’s a new, chiller hotel in Ibiza: 7 Pines. Located on the quieter west coast and surrounded by a peaceful forest of pine trees(!), the hotel includes 186 suites and villas.

Yoga, meditation, spas (including a medi-spa for nursing hangovers) and private villas are the primary attractions of 7 Pines, but you’ll also find four restaurants, including one focused on Korean and another on Mediterranean cuisine. If you’re looking to find more than inner peace, you can charter a Pershing yacht for a jaunt around the coast.

Wi-Ki-Woo

In the party town of San Antonio, Wi-Ki-Woo a gorgeous, whimsical property more upscale than the usual San Antonio digs, soft opened this summer, with future plans for a roof terrace and spa experience. This boutique property has just 47 rooms (including several poolside chalets) and all of them are gorgeous.

The entire hotel rocks an Instagrammable pink and green color scheme which extends into the guest rooms, each of which features a custom made Smeg fridge/freezer as well as GHD hair dryers and straighteners. Plans are underway for a WAH nails pop-up and front terrace with a bar and restaurant with a teppanyaki chef.

The Paradiso

Concept Hotel Group is opening two properties on the island this summer. The first, the Paradiso is a sprawling work of art strongly influenced by South Beach with bold pink coloring including a pink swimming pool and a garden with submerged sunbeds. The hotel has a distinctly artistic bent, with neon and pop art vibes.

Over 60 artists have contributed to the unique room designs which include a Zero Room: a see-through glass-walled suite in the hotel lobby where guests can apply to stay for free.

Cubanito, Concept Hotels Group

The Cubanito

The group’s other hotel channels Miami’s Cuban vibe. Like a journey back in time, The Cubanito is an homage to 50’s Havanna. Everything from the music to the art references to the design of the rooms is gorgeously old school and romantic. Each of the room pays tribute to Cuban musicians and artists of the 1950s.
