German Airports Face Delays Friday Due to Strike

Berlin Schönefeld Airport (SXF) and Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) could face hours of delays as airport ground staff plan on striking in the next 48 hours. According to DW News, the walkout is “scheduled to begin at 4 a.m. local time (03.00 UTC) and last until 5 a.m. on Saturday.” Planned by union Verdi, the workers are demanding better pay and improved working conditions.
