Gatwick Express Ad Banned for False Advertising

After two complaints were filed in relation to a Gatwick Express advertisement that promised passengers the ability to travel between the London Victoria underground station and Gatwick Airport (LGW) “in just 30 minutes,” the service has been ordered to cease making this claim in promotional materials. A watchdog group concluded that between April 30 and May 26, as much as one-fifth of trips operated by Govia Thameslink Railway had been delayed, directly contradicting the advertising.
