From the Forums: Have You Seen Our New Style?
We’ve re-designed the FlyerTalk Forums and we want your feedback. The changes went live yesterday so, if you haven’t been keeping up on the debate between Lufthansa Business Class v. BA Club Europe or the changes in United Airlines’ online upgrade process, head over and let us know what you think.
If you do have any comments or criticisms, let us know in this forum thread on the subject.
Thanks!
I agree with DENMILLIONMILER, the Sticky Threads and Normal Threads headers used to be easy to tell apart from everything else, now they look too much like thread titles look. It makes you have to study the page to figure out the organization of the page, whereas in the old layout the organization of the pages seemed way more obvious at first glance.
The drop downs and drop ups at the top and bottom of the screen are very irritating and unnecessary. Way too much activity on the screen distracts from reading the forum. I do like the new type and it is easier to read - just keep it simple.
The Font for "Sticky Threads" and "Normal Threads" should be larger, and a border around these titles would help visually divide the two sections.
